Philip is a funny and immensely caring guy. Children flock to him because he’s a big kid at heart who is able to be silly and meets them at their level. He loves to make up amusing songs to sing to them and is fulfilled by their hearty shrieks of joy. I have no doubt that he will be an amazing father, and I can’t wait to hear the goofy songs that Philip will sing to our child.Meanwhile, Philip also is a very committed, loving person who takes great responsibility, not only for me but also for our extended family. He makes sure to check in with our parents regularly to make sure that they have everything they need and always shows concern for their comfort and well being. In fact, I don’t think I’ve ever seen him pass anyone in need, not even a stranger, without offering a hand, or if that’s not possible, at least a prayer.
Philip works for a small technology public relations firm not too far from home, which offers him a great deal of flexibility that will come in handy when we are raising our family. He’s a committed Chicago sports fan with a frightening knowledge of sports trivia. Philip also can be silly and laugh at himself. There are few sounds I enjoy more in this world than the sound of Philip’s laugh. He enjoys napping on Saturday and Sunday afternoons, and looks forward to napping when the baby naps. He also loves animals and hopes we’ll get dog in the near future.
